Ram is the executive chairman of the board of directors at Cast Iron Systems. He is also the chairman of the board of directors at Sourceforge Inc and serves on the board of directors at S1 Corporation, Yodlee Inc., Plateau Systems, Compiere, and Accruent, Inc.
Ram brings over 20 years strategy and execution expertise at fast-paced global technology companies, including PeopleSoft, WebMD, Silicon Graphics, IBM and Tata Consultancy Services. He holds several patents in the U.S. and was awarded the Smithsonian Computer World "Search for the Heroes" Award for the year 2000. Ram holds an MS degree in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and he graduated with Honors in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from BITS Pilani, India.
Previously, Ram was the President and CEO of Cast Iron Systems. During his tenure, Cast Iron Systems became the largest vendor of application integration appliances. Both the revenue and the customer base grew over 300%.
Before that Ram was the Executive Vice President at PeopleSoft responsible for strategy, marketing, development, customer support, alliances and mergers and acquisitions. Ram was instrumental in taking the company from primarily an HR applications vendor in the U.S., to the second largest vendor of application suites worldwide. During this time the market capitalization of the company grew from $3 billion to over $10 billion. Ram was also the executive in charge of the company's $1.8 billion acquisition of JD Edwards that set off the consolidation trend in the ERP industry.
Prior to PeopleSoft, Ram was the Senior Vice President and General Manager at WebMD Corp. He was part of the executive team that grew WebMD from a single service, $5 million annual revenue startup to a public company with a set of comprehensive offerings and revenue of more than $300 million. Before that Ram held various leadership positions at Silicon Graphics, IBM and Tata Consultancy Services.
Mr. Haque focuses on investments in enterprise software and communications technologies. He was an early investor and a board member of Cerent Corporation (acquired by Cisco), Siara Systems (acquired by Redback Networks), OnDisplay (acquired by Vignette) and Winphoria Networks (acquired by Motorola). He seeded Extreme Networks in 1996.
In addition to Cast Iron Systems, his current investments include AmberPoint, Inkra Networks, Open-Silicon, Virtela Communications and Zettacom. Other notable investments and previous board seats during his 13 years in the venture capital industry include Tivoli Systems (acquired by IBM), Forte Software (acquired by Sun Microsystems), Kiva Software (acquired by Netscape Communications), Information Advantage (acquired by Sterling Software), Resonext Communications (acquired by RF Micro Devices), and Showcase Corporation (acquired by SPSS).
Mark Kvamme is a venture capitalist at Sequoia Capital focusing on investments in enterprise data management software and consumer media and advertising services. Prior to joining Sequoia Capital in 1999, Mark was Chairman and CEO of CKS Group, an advertising agency that pioneered new advertising strategies by integrating marketing with technology. Earlier in his career Mark was a Director of International Marketing for Wyse Technology, the President and CEO of International Solutions, and was a founding member of Apple France. Mark has a BA in French Economics and Literature from the University of California at Berkeley.
Esfandiar heads INVESCO Private Capital's office in San Francisco, California. His focus is technology investments. Since joining the group in 1998, he has led INVESCO's investments in ONI Systems, Endwave, Fastparts, Integrated MicroMachines and Sigmatel. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Endwave (now public), Integrated MicroMachines and Fastparts.
Esfandiar began his career in 1982 as a member of the AT&T's Technical Staff in Bell Labs's semiconductor devices area. He later joined the CFO Group at Corporate Headquarters, helping to integrate the MicroElectronics Division's business plan into the total AT&T business plan. In 1987, as CFO and Director of Operations, he co-founded a startup called Pixel Machines, a hardware plus software company in the image processing and 3D graphics business.
Esfandiar later re-joined AT&T Corporate Headquarters as Corporate Development Director to help focus on new growth opportunities, most notably Wireless (through acquisition of McCaw Cellular) and Online Services (through startup of WorldNet).
Esfandiar received a Ph.D. in Operations Research from the UCLA School of Engineering in 1982. He received a M.S. in Operations Research from the University of North Carolina in 1976 and a B.A. in Mathematics from Berea College (Kentucky) in 1974.
Ken brings to this role over 20 years of sales and operational expertise driving significant revenue growth at fast-paced technology companies. Since joining Cast Iron as EVP of Worldwide Field Operations in April of 2005, Ken has delivered a 500% increase in revenue and four-fold increase in new customers. Before Cast Iron, Ken spent over four years at CollabNet building the sales organization for the Software as a Service (SaaS) provider of software development tools. While at CollabNet, Ken grew the company's revenue by over 400% while doubling the size of the customer base each year. Prior to joining CollabNet, Ken served as senior Vice President of North American Sales for Parametric Technology Corporation (PTC), managing a 220-person team that expanded revenue to over $170 million. Ken also spent over 10 years at Amdahl Corporation, where he held various executive sales management and operations positions in both Europe and the United States. Ken holds a B.S. degree in Finance from Santa Clara University and an MBA in Strategy from the London Business School.
Stewart A. Gollmer is a senior vice president in Private Equity and a partner in Lehman Brothers Venture Partners. Mr. Gollmer joined Lehman Brothers in 1998 and has been with the Venture Capital Group since 2001. Prior to joining Lehman Brothers Venture Partners, he was a member of Lehman Brothers' Technology Investment Banking Group where he was responsible for corporate finance and strategic advisory assignments. Prior to joining Lehman Brothers, Mr. Gollmer was a corporate attorney. He currently is a director of Navini Networks, Kodiak Networks and Health Language, and a board observer of TeleNav and comScore Networks. Mr. Gollmer holds an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago, a J.D. from Brigham Young University and a B.A. from the Johns Hopkins University.

Mr. Crowe brings more than 20 years of experience to Norwest Venture Partners having served in a variety of operational roles ranging from chief executive officer, chief operating officer and marketing at various public and private companies.
Mr. Crowe has been a CEO-in-Residence at NVP since January 2002 and until recently served as interim CEO of PowerMarket, Inc., a privately held supply chain decision management software firm and NVP porfolio company. Formerly he was president, chief operating officer and a board member at DoveBid, Inc., where he helped to purchase and integrate 13 companies on three continents to create the world's largest business auction and appraisal firm, raise $150 million in funding and take the company's operations online.
Earlier Mr. Crowe was co-founder, president, CEO and board member of Edify Corporation, a software and services company focused on Internet and voice e-commerce. Over his nine years at Edify, he saw the company through its initial public offering on NASDAQ in 1996 as well as its acquisition by S1 (NASDAQ: SONE) Corporation in November 1999. Prior to Edify, he held multiple marketing and general management roles at ROLM Corporation, IBM and Siemens.
Mr. Crowe holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Stanford University.
