Job Description*

Cast Iron Systems, Inc. is seeking an energetic, highly motivated individual with an eagerness to learn and join the growing Engineering team. As a Senior Test Developer/Automation Engineer, you will develop, execute test tools and test cases to validate product releases and drive the automation efforts of the Company.

Minimum skill set required for the position include

  • 5+ years of solid hands-on experience in Perl is required
  • 5+ years of experience in testing middle-ware enterprise software or Operating systems or networking is required
  • Working experience with XML, HTML, Web Services, one or more of the major RDBMS, and SQL is required
  • 3+ years of experience in QA processes & test automation is required
  • Experience with coding in Java, C and product development is a plus
  • 2+ years of experience in architecting/developing/maintaining test harness is a plus
  • Knowledge of HTTP, FTP, and MQ protocols is a plus

Education Level:

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering is required
