Ken brings to this role over 20 years of sales and operational expertise driving significant revenue growth at fast-paced technology companies. Since joining Cast Iron as EVP of Worldwide Field Operations in April of 2005, Ken has delivered a 500% increase in revenue and four-fold increase in new customers. Before Cast Iron, Ken spent over four years at CollabNet building the sales organization for the Software as a Service (SaaS) provider of software development tools. While at CollabNet, Ken grew the company's revenue by over 400% while doubling the size of the customer base each year. Prior to joining CollabNet, Ken served as senior Vice President of North American Sales for Parametric Technology Corporation (PTC), managing a 220-person team that expanded revenue to over $170 million. Ken also spent over 10 years at Amdahl Corporation, where he held various executive sales management and operations positions in both Europe and the United States. Ken holds a B.S. degree in Finance from Santa Clara University and an MBA in Strategy from the London Business School.
Glenn brings more than 25 years of experience working with global hardware, software and Internet-related technology companies. Before joining Cast Iron Systems, Glenn was vice president of finance at Informatica, a publicly traded enterprise data integration software company. At Infomatica, Glenn was responsible for all aspects of worldwide finance operations and planning, and instituted financial metrics that drove improved financial accountability, revenue growth, profitability and shareholder value. He also drove the implementation of their Sarbanes-Oxley compliance process. Previously, Glenn was vice president of finance, Americas, for Business Objects, a provider of business intelligence and data integration software. During his four years at Business Objects, where he was responsible for all aspects of financial operations and planning, his division grew from $150 million to more than $550 million. Glenn has also held finance roles with a number of public and privately held companies including Logitech, Auspex, Silicon Graphics and Ungermann-Bass. A member of Financial Executives International and BayCFO, Glenn is a Certified Public Accountant and has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Lehigh University.
Simon joined Cast Iron Systems as SVP of Marketing & Strategy in May of 2004. He brings to this role more than 16 years experience in strategy, product management and marketing of enterprise-level solutions. Before coming to Cast Iron Systems, Simon was Vice President of Marketing at Peakstone Corporation where he devised the company's go-to-market strategy, trained and re-tooled the sales team and led the company to surpass its ambitious new customer pipeline goals. Prior to Peakstone, Simon was the Vice President of Marketing at Mainsoft Corporation. There, he directed all marketing and product management efforts, defining and implementing a new corporate and product strategy that dramatically increased the Mainsoft customer base. He also positioned and launched what became the company's flagship product-line, and successfully re-branded the company. Prior to Mainsoft, Simon was Vice President of Product Marketing at Vitria Technology where he rapidly built the company's marketing capabilities, launched the core product-line and introduced the company's first Service-Oriented Architecture solution. Prior to Vitria, Peel led the marketing and product strategy for MERANT/Micro Focus as Vice President of Worldwide Product Management and Marketing, and has held a number of other executive marketing and operational management roles at leading Bay Area and European companies. He is a founding member of the Silicon Valley Product Management Association (SVPMA).
Matt joined Cast Iron Systems as VP of Engineering in 2006. He brings to this role more than 23 years of engineering, product development and management expertise. Before coming to Cast Iron, Matt was vice president of engineering at ONStor, Inc., where he was responsible for product development and delivery of the ONStor NAS Gateway product. While at ONStor, he successfully shipped the first generation product, followed one year later by the second generation gateway product. Prior to joining ONStor, Matt served as vice president of engineering at Mirapoint, Inc. In this role, he led the engineering team responsible for all aspects of product delivery and development of the Mirapoint messaging infrastructure appliances. While at Mirapoint, his team delivered four new appliance products on schedule, and revamped the software infrastructure. Prior to Mirapoint, Matt served as vice president of software engineering at Silicon Graphics (SGI). He led a large geographically distributed team responsible for delivery of all software related products for SGI. Matt has held senior positions at SGI of Senior Director, Director and Manager of Engineering prior to the VP role. Prior to SGI, Matt held a number of engineering and product development positions at leading Bay Area companies.
George Gallegos manages worldwide sales operations, sales strategy and field sales for Cast Iron Systems. He brings more than 20 years of senior and executive sales management experience to the company, including a consistent track record of exceeding sales goals and revenue targets, both as an individual contributor and as a corporate executive. As a veteran sales executive selling enterprise software applications, Gallegos previously served as a Regional Sales Vice President for Oracle, and prior to that was a sales leader for seven years at Siebel. Earlier in his career, he held sales roles at various Silicon Valley startups including Scopus and Neuron Data. He holds a BS in Computer Science from Purdue University.
Dan Moore manages worldwide services for Cast Iron Systems, bringing more than 17 years of senior management experience leading global professional services organizations at both start-ups and top-tier consulting organizations. Prior to joining Cast Iron, Dan led the development and implementation of a SaaS solution to track worldwide maritime cargo as the Director of Operations and Advanced programs for SaviNetworks. As Vice President of Professional Services for Saqqara Systems, he oversaw all customer implementations and operations for a SaaS catalog management solution to support over 25,000 production users in Asia, Europe, and the U.S. Dan has also served as Director of Alliances for Avaya's $700 million software portfolio and was responsible for double-digit growth in the group's OEM and partner channels. As an entrepreneur, Dan was the co-founder and CTO of OpenShelf, where he oversaw all development and customer services until the start-up's acquisition. Earlier in his career, he spent nine years at Accenture, contributing to the growth of the firm's CRM practice into one of its largest revenue drivers. He holds a BS in Finance and an M.B.A. with a concentration in Computer Science from the University of Florida.
Helen Leung brings to this role over 15 years of global experience providing human resource support and counsel to executives and senior management teams at companies such as: webMethods, Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance and Philips Electronics. Prior to joining Cast Iron, Ms. Leung was Human Resource Director for webMethods in Australia, where she ran the HR function for Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, PR China and India. She developed and implemented the human resource strategy across the region in support of the company's short and long term businesses goals. Previously, Ms. Leung served as Human Resource Manager at Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance. In this role, she worked as a pro-active HR business partner providing high level HR support across a broad range of issues from employee relations and training, to advanced HR systems. Ms. Leung holds a Bachelor of Arts, Psychology & Industrial Relations from University of New South Wales, Australia.
Anna joined Cast Iron Systems as General Counsel in May 2006. Prior to joining Cast Iron, Anna was Sr. Director & Associate General Counsel at Walmart.com, where she was the lead attorney responsible for all legal and compliance matters for the online division of the world's largest retailer, Wal-Mart Stores. While at Walmart.com, Anna successfully built the legal team and implemented the legal processes and strategy necessary to support the company's business initiatives and strategic partnerships, while also managing risk and ensuring compliance. Prior to Walmart.com, Anna served as Associate General Counsel at Raza Foundries, a private incubator/venture firm. In this role, Anna worked on a wide range of legal matters. Prior to Raza, Anna represented a variety of technology companies and venture capital funds as a corporate and securities attorney focused on emerging growth companies at the law firm of Cooley Godward LLP. Anna received her J.D., magna cum laude, from Harvard Law School and her A.B., magna cum laude, in Economics and East Asian Studies from Harvard College. Anna is a member of the State Bar of California and the American Bar Association.
