Reed Construction Data Launches Industry-leading Integration Service for SFA and CRM

Reed Connect's latest innovation gives customers the power to manage leads and integrate customer and project information directly into their own SFA or CRM systems

Atlanta, GA, September 13, 2007 — Reed Construction Data (RCD), a leading, international provider of quality, construction information solutions, has announced an enhancement of Reed DataLink, its powerful service that gives customers the ability to select and import projects and related information into third-party customer relationship management (CRM) or sales force automation (SFA) applications.

Reed Construction Data's newly reinforced Reed DataLink allows users to more quickly and efficiently empower their sales forces with critical sales leads and essential market intelligence. The amplified Reed DataLink service reduces the traditional time of SFA or CRM information implementation from months to a matter of days, increasing the effectiveness — and results — of the users' front-line sales team.

Reed DataLink is an option with the popular online service, Reed Connect, which was updated with new features in February and has become one of RCD's most successful product launches. With DataLink, companies that have invested in sales management systems can now seamlessly integrate select data from Reed Connect directly into their own environments. This ability will boost the value and efficiency of a customer's SFA system by providing information and updates to an end-user's SFA screen.

"DataLink gives our customers an unprecedented opportunity to capitalize on market information, managed through their own applications," said Craig Roberts, Director of Product Management with Reed Construction Data. "By design, this solution aligns with the technology our customers already use, regardless of what system they have in place."

Reed Construction Data is bringing this innovative service to its clients though a ground-breaking alliance with two other leading-edge technology providers that's among the first in its industry.

Reed selects the latest technology from Cast Iron Systems to power DataLink's integration services. Cast Iron's integration appliance technology ensures seamless integration of Reed's data with customers' business processes, as well as, their sales and marketing databases.

"We are very pleased to be working with Cast Iron Systems to support the underlying technology of our enhanced DataLink offering," said Iain Melville, CEO of Reed Construction Data. "Cast Iron gives us the flexibility and capability to insert our market data directly into any customer SFA or CRM system."

"We see a continuing trend of customers using our integration appliances to rapidly implement industry specific business processes," said Ken Comee, CEO of Cast Iron Systems. "The ability to instantly access construction market data from

the DataLink solution using our Integration Platform provides a significant competitive advantage for Reed's customers. We are glad to be part of such a pioneering and powerful supply chain solution for the construction industry."

Sales PRM, an experienced sales, business analysis and CRM organization based in Atlanta, has also joined Reed Construction Data to provide professional services for DataLink's integration.

"Few firms can match Sales PRM’s experience and ability to work directly with applications such as Salesforce.com and Siebel," said Melville. "The combination of Reed, Cast Iron Systems and Sales PRM translates into advanced, powerful solutions for our customers."
